FUN FILLED DAY

Just before Christmas, the Boxes of Love providing food and supplies for families for six weeks were distributed, giving the children a change to gather together at the Nazareth playground for play therapy. It was such an amazing day. Play therapy is very important for the children at the Holy Family Center. The activity of play helps the children  knowing and living with HIV. The skills that are developed are self-awareness, self-image, self-esteem, assertiveness, coping with emotion, and stress. The children playing together is helpful in the enhancement of creating interpersonal relationships, friendship formation, empathy, and effective communication skills. When the Boxes of Love were distributed the children gathered together at the Nazareth playground for play therapy. it was such an amazing day that most children wanted to stay longer and have fun together. Tree of Lives through the Boxes of Love made it possible to see these young ones full of life, smiles and energies for the day.
