STORIES FROM A BOX OF LOVE RECIPIENT

Meet Ian, a 15 year old in Form 1 (that’s 9th grade to us). He is an orphan who lives with his grandmother, who takes cares of both him and his uncle, who suffers from mental illness. She is the sole bread-winner for the family; however, she also has health problems and cannot do manual jobs, which are more lucrative than other types of work. Ian does his best to pick up odd jobs, but they are not enough and the family must rely on charitable donations for survival. This Christmas, Trees of Loves, through the generosity fo our donors, was able to give this family a Box of Love containing much needed food and supplies for Ian, his grandmother, and his uncle.
