BACK TO SCHOOL
schools beginning to open in Kenya
 

Last week several of our Joy Village kids in grades 4, 8 and form 4 (high school seniors) resumed school! Any of the Joy Village children in these grades who had been sent to live with their families of origin due to the government restrictions on children’s homes during COVID were allowed to come back to Joy Village. They are all in good health and spirits. The other grades and students are expected to be able to go back to school on October 26, 2020 as per the government directive. We are thrilled that our kids can continue with their education in-person and, for some, be reunited with their Joy Village families!
