Technology Coming to the Joy Village

TECHNOLOGY COMING TO THE JOY VILLAGE

Traveling with our Kenya Team this week will be laptop computers and iPads for our Joy Children’s Village. Last year, Tree of Lives received a donation for technology and purchased the devices for each house and for the Common Room. The computers will be pre-loaded with educational software and books all organized by grade level and age. FPC member Greg Weber, owner of Sync21 technology firm, will be traveling to Kenya to set up the computers and get them networked at Joy Village. He and his team at Sync21 have been working hard to make sure everything is in order before he leaves the U.S. Once on the ground in Kenya, there will be a 2-day technology conference for the mamas. They will learn how to work the computers and operate the software. What an amazing gift to give our Joy Village kids!
