SENDING OUR KIDS TO HIGH SCHOOL

While the kids in the U.S. are getting ready to get out of school, some of our kids at the Joy Village are gearing up for a new school year. After the 8th grade, kids in Kenya go to Form 1 (equivalent to 9th grade). We have eight kids heading off on a new adventure. All high schools in Kenya are boarding schools, which means big changes for our Joy Village kids. All of our mamas helped pack trunks and get our kids ready! Meet Sharon! Sharon (right) is one of our brightest students and is starting at Uthiru Girls School.
