TUTORING at THE JOY VILLAGE

Did you know, the Joy Village has three tutors who help out with all of the children's schoolwork after classes Monday - Friday? This has been especially helpful during the pandemic, as schools were closed for part of the time and many students had to work extra hard to stay on top of their studies and catch up again when the schools reopened. Over the last several months, the tutors have been focusing largely on helping the kids better their English. Only English is spoken during the tutoring lessons, and it is was clear during our recent trip to Kenya that the JV kids are improving by leaps and bounds! The one-on-one support is a real game changer for the kids. They love learning with their tutors!
