GETTING THEIR KICKS

We are pleased to introduce the Joy Village's very own soccer teams! Joy FC and Team Simba had their first match in April with Joy FC emerging as the winner. Counselor Elizabeth brought a trophy that was awarded to the winning team. The teams benefited from coaching from Geoffrey. Geoffrey is a neighborhood friend that is really into soccer. He was a big hit with the children! Father Benard from a local Catholic church donated the soccer ball. The teams will have a second match soon.
